Operator group VimpelCom and browser maker Opera Software are jointly developing a mobile web browser designed specifically for feature phones. The VimpelCom Opera Mini browser is expected to launch this summer across VimpelCom’s operator brands in 18 countries, providing “a rich, fast and data-efficient mobile browser ideally suited for low-cost mobile phones”.
