US publication PCMag.com said that following a 21-city test across the country, it found that “Verizon’s new 4G LTE network is much faster that other mobile web options, with speeds that often exceed home Internet connections.” It also noted that in rural communities, AT&T fared well, because it offered “the best balance of speed and consistency on its 3G, HSPA 7.2 network.” The company conducted its tests using handsets, to “more accurately reflect how Americans are using the mobile Internet.”
