Verizon Wireless has admitted outages across the US on its recently-launched LTE network that have prevented some customers from accessing the Internet, reports Reuters.

"We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible," Thomas Pica, a spokesman for Verizon Wireless said yesterday. He declined to comment on the reason for the service interruptions, which he said customers had been reporting for about 24 hours.

It is at least the third reported outage since the US number-one carrier launched its LTE network a year ago.
