The UK’s NHS is using text and email to provide advice to parents-to-be or those with newborn babies.  A new service called NHS Information Service for Parents launched this month. All the country’s parents are being given the opportunity to sign up for the new service.

Those who choose to join the scheme will receive messages offering advice and actions that they can take during pregnancy and after their baby’s birth. Advice will come mainly from NHS content including new videos but will also include input from the voluntary sector and independent information providers.
