Thailand’s number three mobile operator True Move is in talks with Hutchison Telecommunications International to buy the Hong Kong company’s CDMA business in Thailand, a step that could accelerate 3G services.”We have just started negotiations and studied the business. We haven’t offered a price yet,” True Corp CEO Supachai Chearavanont told Reuters today. True Corp owns True Move, which operates Thailand’s third-largest mobile network with about 24 percent of the market. Market-leader AIS is also thought to be keen on buying the CDMA business.
