Healthcare companies are second only to the finance sector in allowing employees to use their own smartphones and tablets in the workplace, according to a new survey by vendor Good Technology.   The vendor surveyed its own customer base and received responses from 400 of them (companies with 2,000 employees or more) of which 70 percent said they allow employees to practise so-called BYOD (build your own device).  A further 19 percent are considering BYOD and only nine percent said they had no plans for it. Finance and healthcare finished ahead of professional services, transport, entertainment and retail sectors.
