US operator Sprint today launched WiMAX services in a number of Texan cities. This move follows WiMAX launches earlier this year in Atlanta, Las Vegas, Portland, Bellingham and Boise. Sprint also plans to deploy such services in these additional markets in 2009: Chicago; Dallas – Ft. Worth, Philadelphia, Austin, Charlotte, Greensboro, Honolulu, Maui (Hawaii), Raleigh, Salem, San Antonio, and Seattle.
