South Korean mobile operator SK Telecom has decided to buy SK Networks’ leased-line business and issue new shares of its subsidiary SK Broadband, reports Telecompaper. Under the takeover agreement, SK Telecom will pay KRW892.9 billion (US$719 million) and assume KRW654.1 billion of assets and KRW627.8 billion of debt.
