Samsung has ruled out settling its patents legal battle with Apple in the manner that HTC did earlier this week, reports The Next Web. “It may be true that HTC may have agreed to pay KRW300 billion (US$276 million) to Apple, but we don’t intend to [negotiate] at all,” Samsung’s mobile chief JK Shin told South Korean media. Shin also said he expects Samsung’s smartphone sales to continue record third-quarter growth into Q4.
