The committee of independent directors revealed the findings after co-CEOs and chairmen Jim Balsillie and Mike Laziridis stepped down last week. The company said on 22 January that it had appointed Barbara Stymiest as independent chair, working alongside incoming CEO, Thorsten Heins.
