Marbridge Daily reports that China Telecom has reached an “initial agreement” with Apple, which will enable the operator to sell the CDMA version of the iPhone in the country. It was suggested that the smartphone could be available “by next year at the latest, and possibly as soon as this October,” with the operator possibly planning to offer both the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 5 at the same time.
