TeleGeography reports that China Mobile has announced the result of its third-round TD-SCDMA equipment tender with a total contract value of CNY8.6 billion (US$1.26 billion). Datang and Alcatel Shanghai Bell together won a 23 percent share of the tender while Huawei and ZTE won 20 percent and 18 percent respectively. New Postcom, Fiberhome and Putian won a combined 29 percent share of the bidding, while Nokia Siemens Networks and Ericsson each took a 5 percent share.
