The Supreme Court of the Philippines upheld a decision by the National Telecommunications Commission to re-allocate spectrum from VOM Broadcasting to Smart Communications, Business World Online reported. VOM was issued a licence to build and operate a wireless network in a number of regions, although it failed to meet rollout obligations. The decision was taken earlier this year, although the supporting documentation was only released this week, the publication said.
