TeleGeography reports that Orange Poland has introduced 42 Mbit/s HSPA+ coverage in the city of Krakow, with the intention to extend this to 650 base stations across five cities (Krakow, Katowice, Wroclaw, Poznan and Szczecin) by the end of 2010 – equivalent of 11 percent population coverage. The operator’s 7.2 Mbit/s HSPA network currently covers 56 percent of the population, and it also has a CDMA 450 network serving rural areas.
