UK operator O2 is providing free Wi-Fi coverage in seven of the busiest areas of London as part of a deal with two London councils. Areas such as Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus and Exhibition Road are covered by the network and can be accessed by anyone with a Wi-Fi-enabled device regardless of their mobile network provider. Once users are registered, their device will connect to the network whenever they are in the coverage areas.
