Reuters reports that Nokia Siemens Networks has begun cutting 1,500 jobs from the 6,900 staff it gained through its acquisition of network businesses from Motorola Solutions. The axe has fallen on staff working in GSM and WiMAX divisions in the UK, and will also include cuts in other markets including the US.
