Nokia Siemens Networks is to begin redundancy talks with around 400 of its Finland-based employees as part of the wider programme which will see the company shed 17,000 jobs and EUR1 billion in costs by the end of 2013, Reuters reports. The measures are being taken in response to economic pressures that have seen spending on mobile network infrastructure decline.
