Telegeography reports that Finnish vendor Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has announced a deal with Indian mobile network operator Aircel for the rollout and management of radio and core network and services in three circles, with the four-year contract understood to be worth in excess of US$300 million. Under the terms of the deal NSN will deploy GSM infrastructure in the Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan states, with Aircel expected to launch commercial services in the regions in April 2010.
