Nokia is working to incorporate NFC technology into future versions of its Windows Phone-based Lumia phones and is considering a version with wireless charging. Nokia's head of design, Marko Ahtisaari, told the Guardian that forthcoming Lumia devices will also remove the flip-up plastic tab that covers the micro-USB charger on the Lumia 800. Nokia announced the first Lumia devices at Nokia World on October before adding the LTE-enabled Lumia 900 to the lineup at January’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
