Vietnam gained its third 3G network on Thursday after the military-owned Viettel launched its WCDMA based service, reports Cellular News. Deputy General Director of Viettel Tong, Viet Trung, said that the new network has covered 63 localities nationwide. Two other operators – Vinaphone and Mobiphone – already operate 3G networks in the country.
