Device software company Myriad Group has reached the required number of shareholder approvals to acquire UK-based messaging products company Synchronica after waiving conditions on its offer, which values the company at £20.6 million. “This deal will create a powerhouse in the rapidly growing sector of mobile-social convergence,” said Myriad CEO Simon Wilkinson. Under the terms of the deal Synchronica board members David Mason and Michael Jackson have resigned, with Wilkinson and James Bodha replacing them.
