Leaving aside the irony of this advertisement being on a telephone box (I thought Clark Kent was the only person who used phone boxes these days) there is a special message behind this being in the North London suburb of Finchley.

It’s a very multicultural area, just by the phone box is an Iranian grocers, a polish supermarket and a laundry that also does Western Union. Not far away is a Brazilian deli and the area has a large Japanese population.

It’s not just aimed at the Kenyan niche, it’s taking IMT on mobile into the mainstream.

I’m sorry about the picture quality, iPhones have rubbish cameras.
