Motorola Solutions to take over Norway emergency network

Motorola Solutions will take over the running of the Norwegian TETRA network Nødnett Project from Nokia Siemens Networks. The Nødnett Project is a nationwide multi-agency digital radio communication system used for emergency and public safety services and owned by the country’s Directorate for Emergency Communication. Motorola Solutions will take over responsibility for rolling out and developing the network with the transaction intended to close by the end of February.
