Motorola Mobility and Sprint announced the anticipated launch of the Photon 4G, which is described as “Sprint’s first international 4G smartphone.” The Android device includes WiMAX, WCDMA, CDMA and GSM connectivity, powered by a 1GHz dual core NVIDIA processor. Set for release on 31 July 2011, it will cost US$199.99 with two year service contract.
