Egypt’s mobile phone services are available again after being shutdown last Friday as part of the government-inspired clampdown on protest. Vodafone, France Telecom-controlled Mobinil and Etisalat Misr were all ordered by the government to block their services in selected areas across the country. Internet services were also hit by the government-backed blackout.
