Security technology company McAfee said the amount of mobile device malware increased by 1,200 percent in the first quarter of 2012, with Android being the main target. The increase has been largely fuelled by mobile backdoor malware and premium-rate SMS-sending malware. McAfee also said it found the first destructive Android Trojan during the quarter.
