Growth in mobile data services drove an increase in revenue for Belgacom’s Consumer unit, and enabled it to see flat underlying revenue at its Enterprise business, offsetting declines in its fixed and voice businesses. “Today we are clearly benefitting from our approach of having invested early and continuously in a high-quality fixed and mobile network,” said Didier Bellens, its CEO. On a group level, it saw a profit of EUR199 million, up from EUR194 million, on revenue that was essentially flat at EUR1.6 billion.
