Two US senators have urged the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to allow proposed wholesale LTE network LightSquared to move to a new section of spectrum to overcome GPS interference issues, reports US government news publication The Hill. John Kerry – the 2004 Democratic Party presidential candidate – and Republican Lindsey Graham wrote a letter to FCC chairman Julius Genachowski saying that allowing LightSquared to operate would “increase competition in the wireless broadband market and promote the public interest."
