South Korean operator LG Uplus expects to launch voice-over-LTE services later this year, reports the Korea Herald. The country’s smallest operator is looking to provide voice services by October after its LTE network is completed this month, according to a report quoting LG Uplus vice-president Choi Taek-jin. The report adds that the company is considering supporting VoLTE on all LTE-based devices next year.
