An executive from South Korea’s number three operator LG UPlus has said its LTE network will cover 94 percent of the country, reaching 84 cities in eight counties by the end of 2011, reports South Korean newspaper the Dong-A Ilbo. Full LTE coverage is expected by the end of March 2012. The operator currently just uses LTE for data transmission but will move voice services to the LTE network in the second half of 2012.
