Lenovo’s latest smartphone designed for China Mobile, the world’s biggest operator by connections, will feature an application processor built by ST-Ericsson. The Lenovo lePhone S899t uses the ST-Ericsson dual-core Nova A9500 application processor, with 1GHz dual-core ARM Cortex A9 CPU and high-end 3D graphics accelerator. The device will be priced at RMB1299 (US$200) and also uses ST-Ericsson technology to support Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi functionality.
