KDDI eyes deals

 Japan’s second-largest telco KDDI says it is keen to expand its overseas reach in the Asia-Pacific region through acquisitions, the Business Times reports, notes TeleGeography. China in particular is seen as a key target market and only last week KDDI announced it was taking a 50.1 percent stake in Singapore-listed IT systems developer DMX Technologies, for a reported US$128.6 million.
