Telecompaper reports that a public tender to grant the first 3G licences in Jordan has been postponed following a request from local mobile operators, the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) announced. TRC CEO Ahmad Hiyasat said mobile operators had asked the regulator to delay the tender for two months.
