Mexican operator Iusacell has said it will enter a deal with Telefonica, with CNN Expansion speculating that the deal could include infrastructure sharing. The news comes as Iusacell’s plan to sell half of the company to broadcaster Televisa continues to be scrutinised by regulators. Back in January, the chief legal counsel for billionaire Ricardo Salinas, who controls Iusacell, said the operator could disappear without the investment.
