ING DIRECT says it’s the first Canadian bank with mobile apps on both Blackberry and iPhone

This morning "direct-bank" ING Direct will become what it says is the first bank in the country to offer mobile banking apps on both the BlackBerry and iPhone. ING is also taking the wraps off a mobile web site at m.ingdirect.ca.ING Direct Canada president Peter Aceto [[pictured on his Twitter Feed on the right]] says Canadians "love their mobile devices" so the new applications — both of them free — are a natural progression.
