Indonesian telecoms operator Indosat is close to launching a US$500 million bond, in an offering that would test global investor appetite for the country’s corporate debt. A Financial Times report notes that people familiar with the matter said the country’s second-largest provider of fixed line and mobile telephony had hired Citigroup to lead the bond offering, which could be launched this week.
