The Register reports that HTC, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, alongside Exedea and Kyocera, have been named in a patent infringement lawsuit by SmartPhone Technologies LLC. While details of the case are currently scarce, SmartPhone Technologies launched a similar suit in March 2010 against Apple, AT&T, LG, Motorola, Research in Motion (RIM), Samsung, and Sanyo, alleging infringements related to Bluetooth connectivity and email synchronisation.
