France Telecom will not be bidding for a 51 percent stake in state-controlled operator Telekom Srbija because it is too expensive. The deadline for binding offers is the end of March. Even without the French operator, there are still a number of interested parties including Deutsche Telekom, VimpelCom, Wind Telecom, Telekom Austria, America Movil and Turkcell.
