LONDON, United Kingdom — 9 March 2010 — Leading electronic payment solutions company to handle gaming giant’s online prepaid products in Australia.

epay, the electronic payment provider with a global retail network, has reached a deal with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) to offer an end-to-end solution in handling its PlayStation Network (PSN) Cards across Australia. This will be followed by a European and New Zealand roll out.

With the ambition to achieve new and greater retailer presence, at a time where there is a growing emphasis on digital distribution, epay is working with SCEE to not only increase brand awareness, but provide consumers with better access to PSN products. ?

epay’s global network of approximately 237,000 retail locations and innovative payment solutions will help SCEE achieve its objective of enabling more consumers access to digital content available through PSN.

The PlayStation Network Cards are a simple way to add credit to a PSN wallet enabling access to an extensive library of content including: games, downloadable add-ons, movies and much more. Cards can be bought for cash at participating epay retailers where consumers receive a unique voucher code that can be redeemed online to purchase content for both PlayStation®3 (PS3) and PSP™(PlayStation®Portable).
