The Financial Times reports that Deutsche Telekom (DT) today said it would stick to its full-year profit forecast because of growth in its mobile phone business, which it expects to remain insulated from a global economic downturn as more customers turn to mobile Internet services. DT’s Q2 profit dropped 35 percent to €394 million and net revenue was down 2.9 percent to €15.13 billion. T-Mobile, meanwhile, reported revenue of €8.68 billion, holding stable from €8.65 billion a year ago. Core profit was up 3.4 percent to €2.84 billion.
