Light Reading Mobile reports that Japanese operator NTT Docomo wants to deploy femtocells at the same time as it switches on its commercial LTE network from December. “We’re looking for which LTE femtos are available by this timeframe,” said Yoshiyuki Yasuda, Docomo’s managing director of radio access networks. “We are receiving some proposals but have not decided yet.” Separately, US operator AT&T has declared that it has completed the nationwide rollout of femtocells aimed at consumers and small businesses and is now looking to address its enterprise customers.
