Japanese number one operator NTT Docomo has added five more devices to its LTE portfolio, with the company set to offer three new Android smartphones and two tablets “for launch in or after September”. The news comes shortly after the company said it had passed the five million LTE subscriber milestone.

The company will offer smartphones from Sharp (SH-01E, which will also come with a variant “designed collaboratively with Vivienne Westwood”); Huawei (Ascend HW-01E, including support for the NOTTV multimedia broadcast support); and LG Electronics (Optimus G L-01E, with NOTTV support and quad-core processor).

The tablets will be from NEC Casio (Medias Tab UL N-08D, which was described as “the world’s lightest tablet”); and Samsung (Galaxy Tab 7.7 Plus SC-01E, the first Galaxy tablet compatible with NOTTV and One-seg broadcasts).
