Nigeria’s privatisation agency said that Oman International Consortium has until today to pay its deposit for former state telecoms monopoly Nitel, or it would consider its options for the business, Reuters said. A previous sale of Nitel has already failed, after the bidder was unable to pay its deposit. Options for Nitel include another sale process with a government-set minimum price, or liquidation.
