cVidya Networks, a global provider of
revenue intelligence solutions for
telecom, media and entertainment
service providers, has announced the
launch of revenue assurance and fraud
management solutions for mobile
payments and app stores.

With the increase in use of mobiles for transactions, cVidya’s solution for mobile payments addresses the key concerns of carrier service providers and financial institutions, as well as their customers.

It covers issues such as revenue leakages, credit balance mismatch at the accounts level, reporting discrepancies, overpayments, lost transactions, inaccurate adjustments, as well as irregular or suspicious service activities such as fraud (both internal and external) and theft.

The second launched solution, for app stores, addresses challenges such as revenue assurance for refund settlement, revenue assurance for B2B, revenue share and dispute management and subscription fraud identification facing the CSP, subscriber and app owner.

Both solutions detect and prevent revenue leakages and fraudulent activities and automatically update the service platform to stop illegal or harmful activities. They provide an investigation environment for both revenue assurance and fraud teams and intuitive, user customised dashboards that present drill down to the root cause or problems, predefined and ad-hoc reports as well as immediate notifications of alerts to relevant personnel.

“With the ever increasing amount of Apps available and being downloaded and with the rise in the use of mobiles for payment processes cVidya realised that operators needed to ensure that these complex payment relationships and the systems involved are monitored effectively and that revenue wasn’t lost along the way,” commented Alon Aginsky, president and CEO at cVidya Networks.

“Mobile World Congress is the perfect place to showcase these solutions amongst the brightest minds in the mobile industry who will undoubtedly understand the importance of implementing them.”
