Bloomberg reports that Canada’s telecoms firms have “clashed in public hearings,” with Telus and BCE taking opposing stances over the delivery of exclusive content to wireless devices. Telus has argued that the regulators should make all broadcasts available to competitors, while BCE, which owns content provider CTVglobemedia, argues that it should be able to limit distribution of content to its own subscribers.
