Brazilian telecoms regulator Anatel has approved plans for the auction of spectrum for 4G services to take place on 10 June, reports Bloomberg. Operators who win spectrum will be required to provide the services in the six host cities of the Confederations Cup football competition in April 2013 and the 12 cities hosting the 2014 World Cup. Telefonica Brasil, TIM, America Movil, Oi and NII Holdings are expected to participate in the auction.
