Bosch adds Doro to its telecare service

20 NOV 2012

Bosch Healthcare is integrating handsets made by Doro, a vendor which specialises in models for older users, with its telecare service that enables a user to send an alarm from their phone during an emergency.

The German vendor says it will integrate two Doro handsets with its service. One is the Doro Secure 680, a clamshell featurephone with GPS and the other is the vendor’s new 3G smartphone, also with GPS, called the Doro Secure 740. Bosch’s service on the two handsets will launch commercially first in Germany and Switzerland and then gradually the rest of Europe from the beginning of 2013.
