Mobile advertising company Blyk has announced it has secured 1.65 million users in the first year of its partnership with Indian operator Aircel – ‘Blyk on Aircel’ – and is attracting 3,000-4,000 new members every day. The service provides updates, promotions, trivia and polls that members have indicated are relevant to them. Blyk claims to have a 25 percent response rate for its advertising compared to an average of 3-4 percent.
