US number-two operator AT&T will restrict the amount of data users can download per month without penalty, reports Dow Jones Newswires. The company will slow – or throttle – download speeds for users on its unlimited data plans who exceed 3GB per month, or 5GB if they are using its LTE network. AT&T is working to manage capacity on its network with the increasing amount of smartphone and tablet users.
