AT&T has begun sales of HTC’s Status smartphone, a handset which features a dedicated button enabling users to share content via Facebook. The device, which is available exclusively from the operator, costs US$49.99 with two-year contract, and is also the first smartphone from AT&T to use Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread).
